One of my gtkyahoo users mentioned two other sniffers/network analyzers.

a good tool for watching packets is network monitor on nt.
it is a microsoft product and has to be installed from the
Network/services/add option.
besides this, there is also packetboy at www.ndgsoftware.com

I don't know anything about them, but if they support a capture file, might
be worth adding them to wiretap (if they aren't already in there).
