Not only that I accept your arguments, you provided so much information,
that I am now capable of defending it myself. People are usually
avoiding usage of allready written code to much, so I am used to defend
that point. But in this case you're right. Also, desire is not to build
a SNMP agent (at least for now :-) but protocol analyser. We don't need
some agent features, but we certanly want to cope with mailformed or
not-yet-supported packets.

Thanks. I will spend more time reading archives of ethereal-dev, not to
let it asking old questions again. There is a place for developer
faq/info/tutorial. Is anybody working on such a thing?
