I put the blurbs back into the field definitions - they're not currently
used, but they may be used in the future, and Belinda would miss them.

Yes, I've heard that elsewhere as well.  The edition of the Oxford
English Dictionary I have claims that the origin is unknown; I think I
have a slang dictionary *somewhere* here at home, but it'd take me a
while to find it....)
