OK, that's been checked in.

Right now, it remembers the last read filter specified (either in the
"-R" command-line option, or in the "File/Open" dialog box), and makes
that the default in the dialog box; should it do that, or should it
leave the read filter empty in the dialog box (on the theory that it
might not be appropriate for the next file you read)?
