So that the end-user doesn't need perl (or rather, pod2man) installed in
order to install man pages.

But, if Richard's SMB-parser requires the user to have perl, then we
only have to maintain a .pod file. Well, I guess the user only needs
perl if they want to modify Richard's SMB text file. I think that the
fewer tools we require of the user for installation, the better.
