Hi,

what do you think about a new release ?

I just checked the latest CVS tree and found that the
patch from version 0.5.1 is > 500k

and: many new features showed up since the last release (as well as some 
bugfixes):
(the ones I recall first:)
    hex-view
    IPv6
    Capture Window
    it compiles clean with GTK 1.2.1
    witetab changes
    higher level protocolls (http, ..., ...)
    [...]

I think a new release (even if we call it "limited liftime release" or
"Beta") would increase the public attention for ethereal. 
And it would show that ethereal is still under development (the hompage
shows the last changes on Jan 11th 1999)

What do you think ?
