Just to keep everyone abreast of GPL network management software,
www.gxsnmp looks interesting. The current version depends on GNOME,
however.

It appears that work has begun on their RMON capture tool. If they can
capture packets via RMON, perhaps a little integration between GxSNMP and
Ethereal is in order? They capture, we decode.
