Thanks to Guy and Gerald for pointing out to me where I could find
the Sniffer trace file format. (duhhh, the manual for the dang product)
The updates in the CVS tree now properly read Sniffer files.
BTW, I had guessed wrong about which field in the header
indicated the link type. Now the code is right.

And Guy helped me a lot with autoconf and automake for wiretap. There's lots
of changes there to make compilation more successful.
