Ethereal-dev: [ethereal-dev] Change to bit-swap FDDI MAC addresses checked in

Note: This archive is from the project's previous web site, ethereal.com. This list is no longer active.

On most systems, bit-swap the bytes of an FDDI MAC address. (List of
systems on which you don't bit-swap them taken from "tcpdump"; the list
may not be complete. If you discover any systems to be added to that
list, you might want to tell the maintainers of "tcpdump" about it; see
"print-fddi.c" in the "tcpdump" source.)

There may be other 802.3-like media on which bit-swapping is required;
if so, "get_mac_addr()" should be made public, and used by the
"dissect_XXX()" routines for those media as well.

Here's the patch.
